Savory Grill owners Scott and Amie Boring are Carlsbad locals who met and married at Terramar beach, pictured here. Scott grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and cheers the Kansas City Chiefs and KU Jayhawks. After serving in the Marine Corp, he pursued computer engineering. Amie's daughters went through Carlsbad schools, St. Patrick's, Sage Creek and Carlsbad High. She is an avid runner and cyclist, often found along the coast.
