Restaurant General Manager Position Summary
Savory Grill is actively interviewing for a full-time Restaurant General Manager. Savory Grill is a new fast casual restaurant, opening in the Island Food Court in Carlsbad this summer. The Restaurant General Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of Savory Grill.
Compensation
$23-$27/hour
Supervisory Responsibilities
Hires and trains restaurant staff. Organizes and oversees the staff schedules. Strong leadership skills and ability to train and mentor staff. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy. div
Duties/Responsibilities
Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards. Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience. Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner. Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations. Estimates food and beverage costs. div
Required Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, and health and safety regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Excellent time management skills. Authorization to work as confirmed by E-Verify div
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role in the restaurant industry. 21 years of age and must have a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification (RBS). San Diego Food Safety Manager certification required. div
